This notice covers the Tonbridge Windows website at tonbridgewindows.com.

What we collect

If you use the enquiry form we receive your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the number of windows or doors and anything you write in the message box. If you email contact@tonbridgewindows.com or call 01732 900502, we receive whatever you send or say.

Why, and on what basis

We use your details to arrange a survey and quote, because you asked for one. That is the lawful basis: steps taken at your request before a possible contract.

Who receives them

Your details are passed to the FENSA-registered installer described on who surveys, so it can contact you. It becomes responsible for your data from that point, under its own privacy notice. Enquiries are delivered by email through our hosting provider. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.

How long we keep them

If your enquiry does not lead to any work, your details are deleted 12 months after the last time we were in touch with you. If you go ahead with a job, the records are kept for 6 years after the job is finished, because they are needed for tax, for the guarantee and for legal reasons.

Cookies and tracking

The site has no analytics, advertising or tracking. One entry in your browser storage remembers your cookie choice. See the cookie policy.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold, or object to their use, by emailing contact@tonbridgewindows.com. Should our reply not satisfy you, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) handles complaints about how personal data is used.
